Admissions

Admissions Information

We offer places to children the term after their 2nd birthday (if children are eligible for a funded place) or the term after their 3rd birthday for all other children.


We offer the following places

8.30am - 11.30am. (3 hours a day over 5 days)

12.45pm - 15.45pm. (3 hours a day over 5 days)

8.30am – 14:30pm. (6 hours a day over 5 days for eligible families)

In addition, parents are able to purchase additional hours at a rate of £6 per hour (depending on availability) 

If children stay for lunch (between 12:00pm and 12:45pm they will need to bring a packed lunch.)

    

If your child is 2 years old

Your child can get a free 15 hour place if you get any of the following benefits:

  • Income support
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Universal Credit, and your household income is £15,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments
  • The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit (or both), and your household income is £16,190 a year or less before tax
  • The Working Tax Credit 4-week run on (the payment you get when   you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)


Your child can get a free 15 hour place if he or she:

  • Is looked after by a local authority
  • Has an education, health and care (EHC) plan
  • Gets disability living allowance
  • Has left care under an adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangements order


Your child can get a free 15 hour place if both you and your partner work. (Or you are a single parent   who works.)

(In September this will increase to 30 hours.)


If you’re not a UK citizen and you cannot claim benefits (and have ‘no recourse to public funds’) you may still get 15 hours free childcare if your household income (after tax) is no more than:

  • £26,500 if you have only one child
  • £30,600 if you have two or more children

You cannot have more than £16,000 in savings or investments.


* Parents will need to obtain a code to access 15/30 hours for 2 year olds. You will need to apply for your code the term before you wish to access the care.


If your child is 3 or 4 years old

All children qualify for a free 15 hour place.


Your child may qualify for a free 30 hour place if both you and your partner work. (Or if you are a  single parent who works.)
