Rothesay Nursery School

Safeguarding children is everyone's responsibility. If you have any concerns linked to the safety and welfare of a child please talk to a member of staff. 

The school follows the child protection procedure in accordance with the guidelines from Luton Safeguarding in Education and ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’ guidelines. Our policy is reviewed annually and is available on the website.

The designated person responsible for safeguarding is Nikki Cary.

In the interests of protecting your children:

• The school is a mobile phone free zone. Do not use your mobile on school site and if you are staying on the premises then please turn your phone off.
• Taking photographs in nursery is not allowed, unless agreed with a member of staff.

The school is part of Operation Encompass which is run jointly between schools, Luton Council and Bedfordshire Police.

Operation Encompass reports to schools, prior to the next school day, when a child or young person has experienced any domestic abuse, or that a child is missing.
